Pyae Phoo Khaing

Due to the instability in Myanmar, more and more Burmese youths have chosen to study abroad. While these opportunities open new doors, they also bring challenges as students struggle to reconnect with their culture and search for a community in their new environments. Additionally, there is an increasing rate of poverty, inequality, and lack of education access – a crisis that cannot be ignored.

The Burman is initiated to bridge this gap, reconnecting the Burmese diaspora while helping the underprivileged youths in need. We envision our nonprofit to be a platform and community where all Burmese youths can feel heard, supported, and empowered.
